PAL Cares Afterschool Program


PAL Cares Afterschool Programs provide a safe and enriching environment in which children can bond with peers from other schools and receive homework assistance from staff and volunteers. Sessions consist of activities that vary daily, such as gym time, arts & crafts, dance, and more! Each student will also participate in a daily afterschool snack and dinner.

PAL Cares Afterschool will be offered in three locations:

Brighter Choice Charter Schools for Boys and Girls
(Applications for BCCS Boys and Girls are to be returned to PAL.)

and

The PAL Center, 844 Madison Ave, Albany NY
(Applications will be reviewed by our Executive Director to determine eligibility for this program.)

Our PAL Cares Afterschool Program is offered on a sliding scale based on what fits best for you. Acceptance is NOT based on financial ability. Applications will be reviewed by the PAL Executive Director to determine eligibility for this program. A $25 registration fee, as well as a copy of your child's immunization records, is due upon registration with a completed application for each child.  This program is not first come, first served. This program has a limited capacity. Filling out an application does not guarantee your child’s enrollment. You will be notified if your child’s enrollment is accepted. All applications and payments must be returned to Albany PAL at 844 Madison Ave.

Albany PAL is open Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm for paperwork and payment drop off..
